The Best Laid Schemes

Deciding which species to chose: Check. — A harmless hobo spider. So I’m a coward. So what? That’ll change.

Visiting my friend Kip in his lab and stealing a bit of Tritium: Check

Exposing the spider to Tritium: Check.

Deciding where to get bitten: Check.– I’ll hide in a washroom at the hospital. Coward, remember?

Getting on my bike: Check.

Then that kid comes out of nowhere, I veer, the vial with the radioactive spider slips out of my fingers and lands on the ground, gets crushed by the bike… and now my bike climbs walls and saves people. Damn!

(100 words) (edit: changed floor to ground)

    1. The thought ‘this bike sticks to the wall like spiderman’ was suddenly in my thoughts while I was still staring at the picture and wondering what to make of it. And so I gave it a try… thank you. 🙂
