The Friday Fictioneers is a friendly writing challenge hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. The task of the challenge is to write a story in 100 words or less. You can find all the Fictioneers’ stories when you click on the little frog. Reciprocation is the life of this challenge!
”Look at that, can you believe it? Trash everywhere. It looks like a horde of barbarians ran through and wrecked everything. What has the world come to?”
“Don’t you think you exaggerate?”
“No, I don’t. That’s what you get for letting them party in the barn. Jennifer had better come down and start cleaning up RIGHT NOW!”
“She’ll still be asleep.”
“I don’t care… Jennifer! Come down at once! JENNIFER!”
“What’s that in the corner? Looks like someone fell asleep there. Hey, wake up! What the…? Oh no… Martha, don’t look. Don’t look!”
“What? Why? Oh… NO! Jennifer… NOOOOO! JENNIFER!”
Third time in a row I start a story with ‘Look’… I should mend my ways.
