Project 10K (P10K) April 2021

April has gone and May has arrived and where I live it is rainging and rather cold. Which is good, we need the water. Several years in a row now it hardly ever rained during the winter and if it did, it was a downpour (meaning that the water flushes off quickly and doesn’t have a chance to get into the ground) or a slight drizzle that hardly got the surface wet. We didn’t have much snow either. So, the rain is nothing to complain about, really.

Project 10K (P10K) January 2021

The first month has passed and it ist time for a new set of banners. I don’t know about you, but I often feel slightly subdued, a bit depressed and not very optimistic lately–and and I’m getting tired of the darkness around us. Mind you, it won’t get considerably better for a while yet and who knows what’s next–the punishment of destroying habitat–but for the time being I wanted something uplifting. That’s why this year I didn’t try to make stylish, pretty or fashionable banners. I wanted them to be colourful, crazy and loud. And that’s what you’ll get this year. All the art is from Prawny on Pixabay

Now, to get to the point: how was your January? Did you find the time to write, to meet your goals? Tell us all about it.

Project 10K (P10K) December 2020

You’ll find the rules and some of the earlier badges on the Project 10K Page.

Happy New Year!

2020 has gone and I’m certain that no one is sorry to kick it out. What a horrible year it was.

I hope you and your families are still healthy. The new year  gives us a glimmer of hope, but it will take time until the pandemic will be whipped into submission, so, please be careful and watch out for each other.

I’ve enjoyed a few days off work, staying at home with thr SO and the dog. I so wish I could always work from home… but no, I need to be there… I’m not complaining, though. I know how lucky we are–except for meeting with friends on occasion, we don’t miss anything.

Is anyone atill reading this? How are you all doing? I hope you and yours are healthy. After all these dark and sad months things are finally starting to look up, and about time, too.

I’m still very busy at work but I actually wrote a bit this month. Maybe… just maybe, I’ll eventually get back to writing flash fiction and rejoin the Friday Fictioneers. We’ll see.
